Job Title: Echo Technician
Location: Syracuse, NY

Shift: Day Shift (5x9-hour days)
Pay Rate: $52 – $55/hour
We are seeking a skilled Echocardiograph Technician to join a dedicated cardiac team in Syracuse, NY. This contract role involves performing a wide range of echocardiographic procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Ideal candidates will have strong technical abilities and a patient-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:Perform 2D, 3D, and Doppler echocardiograms
Conduct Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
Perform stress echo tests (exercise and pharmacologic)
Support interventional procedures in a Heart and Vascular Center
Position and prepare patients; explain procedures clearly
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Ensure ultrasound equipment is clean, calibrated, and functional
Participate in quality assurance initiatives
Provide rotating coverage for holidays and weekends as needed
Work closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS – ARDMS) or
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS – CCI) OR eligible (must obtain within 1 year)
Current BLS certification
Experience in cardiac ultrasound required
Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related health field
