The Order Management Associate is responsible for Processing Sales orders with attention to detail and a high percentage of accuracy. This includes escalating issues to appropriate groups for resolution. This position reports to the Manager, Order Management and is part of the Order Management team l ocated in Torrance, CA and will be an on-site role . In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Process sales orders with attention to detail and a high percentage of accuracy, provide accurate lead times on items not in stock. + Create production orders for special batch requests, provide daily report of sales orders processed and not processed. + Ensure all work is accurate and free of errors / defects. Clear orders from preorder table for processing and process specialty orders including key stocks, consignments, and standing orders. The essential requirements of the job include: + High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 2 years of experience in Order Management + At least 1 year of data entry and/or customer service experience + Understanding of the functionalities of an ERP system, Microsoft Office (Excel) and Database Management It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Excellent time management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and strong customer service + Basic knowledge of Distribution and Manufacturing + Basic knowledge of Dynamics D365 ERP System Phenomenex, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. The hourly range for this role is $20.63 - $27.33. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
