The plant manager role is responsible for leading the day-to-day manufacturing operations of the site in support of the site's Annual Operating Plan and all associated performance objectives. This role leads all manufacturing activities and processes to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards, a safe work environment, employee development and engagement, quality process execution resulting in a quality product, and schedule adherence to the production plan supporting on-time delivery to customers. **Responsibilities:** + Drive plant metrics for Year Over Year improvement in Safety, Quality, Operational Excellence, and Customer Experience. + Enforce uncompromising Safety and Quality expectations by holding site accountable to adhere to safety standards at all times. + Establish processes to ensure manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed requirements for EHS, cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness. + Prepare and execute an operations plan for the site that includes labor absorption, cost management, quality, efficiency improvements, facility maintenance, and capital management. + Select, train, review, motivate and manage personnel for the efficient performance of assigned duties and growth of the plant + Advocates and supports the Flowserve performance culture and ensures that performance is actively differentiated and managed within the team. + Develop key metrics to measure the plants performance and aligning area key performance metrics with overall platform goals; organizing resources to deliver on these metrics. + Ensure proper coordination and interface with Sales, Commercial Operations, Operations, Finance, and other functional stakeholders within the region is occurring at both an individual and team level, to promote collaboration and clear communication on all applicable orders, policies and procedures, and other functional initiatives. **Requirements:** + BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 8-10 years relevant experience + Strong record of safety performance in a manufacturing plant of similar size and complexity. + Plant Management/Operations experience in engineered-to-order environment + Asset intensive manufacturing experience across various manufacturing functions, such as manufacturing, engineering, CIP, supply chain, quality, EHS, and related. + Track record meeting/exceeding KPI's in manufacturing cost reduction and productivity improvement, safety and related. + Experience developing and managing budgets, schedules, capital expenditure plans with an understanding of the financial implications of operational strategies. + Experience building a high-performance team and coaching to improve individual and team performance. + Experience developing and managing budgets, schedules, capital expenditure plans with an understanding of the financial implications of operational strategies. + Proven leadership and people management skills - ability to foster effective relationships among manufacturing teams. + Ability to motivate team and drive results while keeping engaged and committed to the plant. + Ability to drive accountability. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Preferred Experience** : + Manufacturing experience in the nuclear or energy sector + An MBA or Master's degree is desirable + Experience in manufacturing process improvement tools like Kaizen, Lean, 6-sigma, CIP, 6S etc. The Pay Range for this role is $183,172.67 - $274,888.18 USD Annual per year, depending on level of experience.
