Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized SOP Writer to develop, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across various departments. The SOP Writer will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure documents are clear, compliant, and align with internal and regulatory requirements. We will train the right person. 20-30 hours a week, hybrid. May lead to a full-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, edit, format, and finalize SOPs, work instructions, and related documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., quality, operations, regulatory, manufacturing) to gather technical information and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure all documentation complies with applicable standards (e.g., FDA, ISO, GMP).
• Organize and maintain a centralized document management system.
• Participate in SOP reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Translate complex processes into easy-to-follow, user-friendly procedures.
• Track and manage document revisions and version control.
• Assist with training material development based on finalized SOPs.

Qualifications:

• Preferred, RN/LPN or Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred xperience writing SOPs or technical documentation, preferably in [healthcare, pharma, biotech, manufacturing, or other relevant industry].
• Strong understanding of document control practices and regulatory environments.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information and transform it into clear, concise documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, MasterControl, Veeva).
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in technical writing or process documentation.
